Henthorn’s performance artworks disrupt established understanding of architectural spaces through intervention with the human body. She holds a PhD in Creative Practice as Research from University College London and an MFA from the University of Edinburgh. A former Black Cube fellow, she has set site-specific performances within iconic architecture such as the Cadet Chapel at the U.S. Air Force Academy, the Salk Institute, the Bauhaus Haus am Horn, and multiple Mies van der Rohe buildings and shown with institutions including Crystal Bridges/the Momentary, Denver Art Museum, and Mori Art Museum.
